Murs and the Road To Paid Dues

Murs will personally hand you a ticket to the Paid Dues festival. No, really, he will.

On Thursday, Murs plays at White Rabbit Cabaret to continue his Road To Paid Dues tour. Joining him are rappers Prof, Fashawn, and Black Cloud Music. You can get tickets here!

If you’re not familiar with Murs, it’s not because he’s new to the game. Starting his career in 1993, Murs has worked with dozens of artists, created a name for himself as a solo-artist, and been a team player for the band Living Legends. In 2006, Murs created the Paid Dues Independent Hip-Hop festival in San Bernadino. In the past 6 years, headlining acts have included Ice Cube, Asher Roth, Three-6 Mafia, Wu-Tang, and Mac Miller.

This year, Murs is as excited as ever for his annual festival (think Warped Tour but less hair dye and eyeliner). The festival boasts the big names of Tech N9ne, Immortal Technique, and everyone’s favorite grandad’s-clothes-wearing rapper, Macklemore.

Doors open at 8 on Thursday, February 28 for Murs’ show in Indy, and tickets are only $15 in advance. PLUS, he’s already saving you a ticket to his festival. All you have to do is show him that you’ll be in the area on March 30th (the day of the show) and he’ll give you a free pass.

Be sure to head over to and click “I Like It” on the Murs event to enter to win free tickets to the show next week!

It also wouldn’t hurt to like it on Facebook so you’re always updated!
