First Friday Roundup: Heartless Bastards, Cake, Ghostown/Housefire Music & Art Show

Welcome in the month of September this Friday by supporting local art and taking your pick from the many musical options of the evening.

First up, First Friday Food Truck Fest is going down in the Old National Parking Lot for only $5. Heartless Bastards will be providing the soundtrack starting at 6:30PM. Get your nom on with Indy’s finest mobile restaurants and experience the sounds of mid-western rock. Purchase tickets here . Doors open at 5PM. Now, don’t let this business of  a little rain scare you off.  This is a rain or shine event.  Heartless Bastards are gonna play.  If it rains, we will move the show inside Old National Centre.  Grab a poncho, grab some grub, and lets get it on!

Second, X103 Presents Cake and special guests Metric at the Farm Bureau Insurance Lawn for one of the season’s last outdoor shows. Don’t miss what is sure to be not one but TWO electrifying sets. Doors open at 6PM and show starts at 7PM. Tickets are still available here.



Finally, The D0317 Lounge (Suite #215) will be adding to the noise at the Murphy Building by opening its doors for the FREE Ghostown/Housefire Music & Art Show featuring local favorite Grey Granite, electronic musician Ellie Herring, and B-town hip-hop up and comers The Pro Letarians., DAM! (Devon Ashley & Mike Graves), and Boss L. will also be making an appearance. Art by Drew Lance, Stanley Sievers, Mike Graves, and more. The show is free and Upland Brewery will be servin’ it up!

There is no excuse to be sitting at home this Friday, Indianapolis!
