Edward Sharpe Indy Date Cancelled, A Note From Alex Ebert

While we are extremely sad to deliver this news, rest assured we are working hard to get this date rescheduled at some point on the future.

The Edward Sharpe & the Magnetic Zero’s show on May 22 in Indianapolis at Old National Centre has been cancelled. Frontman, Alex Ebert has been ordered by doctors to take some additional time off during their tour and have had to cancel a handful of dates. While we are bummed about this cancellation, we understand and wish them the best.  We will diligently work to get this date resecheduled.

In the meantime, refunds for this show are available at point of purchase. Below you will find a note from Edward Sharpe’s Alex Ebert:

I am very sorry to say that, on reviewing our May schedule, I feel I need to create a few more days off than were planned, as we are now doing longer shows and I am learning how taxing longer shows are on my voice.

In order to have a few more days off to prevent me from destroying my vocal chords, we are going to have to cancel a few shows. I am extremely hesitant to do this but feel it’s best.

I live and learn. And I promise to those of you who have already bought tickets for one of the shows that will be cancelled, I will do a much better job in the future of ensuring that we are not in this position again.

With Gratitude,
Alex Ebert
